We are based in the picturesque market town of Malmesbury, on the edge of the Cotswolds. Set on a hill, almost surrounded by the River Avon, Malmesbury is known as the Queen of the hilltop towns, the oldest borough in the UK and home to the stunning 12th century Abbey. A stones throw from the Market Cross in the centre of town, you will find our shop.

Inside our shop
We have books for everyone and have created an environment where you can browse at your leisure and find a comfy corner to read through your selections before you buy. Downstairs, houses ADULT FICTION and NON FICTION with an area at the rear of the shop for Baby and Toddlers.
With two further rooms upstairs, here you can find ADULT CRIME, THRILLERS and FANTASY , TEENS and YOUNG ADULT as well as an extensive range of children’s books from 5 years upwards. Our cosy Den provides a reading spot for children who are often found laying on the bean bags pondering their choices! In the second room we hold events, story time sessions, book club groups and display our seasonal gifts and toys as well as story sack packages.
